Sony Ericsson update service?
I can’t recieve or send text messages, or even read ones i’ve already sent or recieved. i try to open the inbox and it just says operation failed, i went into the 3 store and they told me how to update it using the downloadable online updater.
I have followed all of the steps but it still just doesn’t work, i’ve heard about other people having problems with it too.
Any ideas what to do?
You can try a master reset:
Master Reset
IMPORTANT: The device will be set back to factory settings; all data stored on the device will be lost. The device may not be functional for up to 15 minutes after a master reset is performed.
From the standby screen, press Menu.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Master Reset.
Scroll to and select Reset Device.
Press Continue.
The device will be restarted, press Continue.
If that does not correct the issue then it is time for a new phone
